Nexus founded as a partnership firm in Mumbai.
The firm then handled fair amount of
non-contentious matters only.

LEX
Nexus practice grew and then chose to
establish for contentious and arbitration
matters also. Took over the law firm 'Hathi
& Alliances' which was a brainchild of
advocates and solicitor Mr. Shrikant Hathi and
absorbed him as partner.

LEX
Nexus shifted its office from Nariman Point,
Mumbai to Fort, Mumbai very much closer to the
Bombay High Court being the hub for well
established law firms and for convenience.

Nexus introduces Mumbai research office in
addition to its Mumbai main office and New
Delhi office.

Nexus re-named as Hathi & Partners with no
further changes to firms constitution.Mr.
Uttam Hathi, practising counsel of the Bombay
High Court and the Supreme Court of India
joins Hathi & Partners as partner.

& Partners spins off project work to LEX
Nexus. LEX
Nexus re-structured as a specialised shipping
and projects law firm. |

Hathi & Partners merged with LEX Nexus and reverted to its previous name LEX Nexus as full service law firm |
